High-gloss polish on veneer is the most demanding finish in this portfolio: gloss amplifies every irregularity in the substrate instead of hiding it, so the build under the lacquer decides the result. The veneer figure runs on across desk and wall unit.
The brass edge wraps the top on all sides and protects it where it gets knocked in daily use. The wall unit takes storage and equipment and repeats the same edge, so desk and wall read as one piece.
